State Police officials are investigating a shooting that happened along I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia on Monday morning.
According to police, as of about 8 a.m. on Monday, officers were still on the scene after a shooting happened along I-95 between Aramingo Avenue and the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge at about 5 a.m.

In a lunchtime update, state police officials said that a 51-year-old Philadelphia man told troopers that he was involved in a road rage incident while traveling along I-95 north in that area, when an older model maroon Honda Civic sedan pulled next to his vehicle and someone inside the vehicle fired four shots.

The car, police said, then quickly exited the roadway at the next exit.
The victim's car was struck, but one was injured in this incident, police said.
